The new Google Mail visual rollout has hit pretty much everyone now and everyone seems to be loving it! If you haven’t seen it yet, here’s Nick changing his Gmail to the new view – isn’t it beautiful?!
But for G Suite users, this has caused a little confusion as the option to enable the new interface isn’t there by default. This short video below will show you how to turn that option on for all of your Gmail users in your G Suite dashboard.
For those of you familiar with your dashboard, just head to the Gmail Settings section of G Suite and scroll to “End User Settings”. Locate “New Gmail Early Adopter Program” and select the “Allow my users access to the new Gmail UI and features”
This option permits users to opt-in and opt-out of the new Gmail at will. Once you enable this, we do not recommend disabling it, as users will immediately lose access to the new Gmail UI and all new features.
If you’d like to see exactly where these settings are and how to navigate to them, check out this video.
Once enabled, you’ll see the “Try the new…” option in the Settings menu in Gmail.
